Hi, were replacing our worn bfg km2s & are looking at the new bridgestone 674 ?, price is good, has anyone tried them on & offroad. Our cruiser does about 250 km a week on road, but we also do one big trip every year, gulf, cape York etc & tow a camper. Want to know if the saving is worth it, our km2s have been great.

For one trip a year I'd buy AT's..

Forgot to add we go offroad regularly, ie- at least once a month, anywhere from cruiser park to beach

I run em and pretty happy after 10K , bag out well on sand at low PSI , not to noisey and seem to be wearing well.
For the price if they last 2/3 of the time of the KM2 Ill be happy.
Bridgestone make pretty good tyres IMHO have had them on all our cars except the current hyundai of the mrs as they wont wear out >:( but when they do it will be bridge's.
jet ;D

Jet has pretty much summed it up well. But as the old saying says if it ain't broke don't fix it, so if your happy with the BFG's then why change and risk not being happy with your choice?

Running these on my Kia Sportage (245/75/r16). Fitted during the wet in Darwin this year. Probably travelled around 1800km on them mostly around town.
Tyres grip very well on the road both wet and dry.
Feel good on dirt roads with plenty of stability and grip.
They are noisy on the road letting off a nice chunky hum. For a pretty aggressive tyre I think the noise is acceptable.
Haven't had av chance to try them off road yet.
Cheers, Chris

Yeah I'm more than happy with the BFG's, stick with what you know is my call, but its the minister of finance pulling the purse strings so If I'm forced to make a sacrifice its gotta be good, another mate recommended Maxxis M/T for around same price as Bridgy so I'll keep researching, thanks for opinions though its appreciated
