Hey Swaggies!
I have been a lurker for quite some time and have thoroughly loved watching and reading the mad adventures and builds that go on here. I am a keen camper, fisherman, kayaker, mountain biker, motorcyclist, cyclist, photographer etc etc.....
Until now a camper trailer has been a bit of a 'dream' for us. We have held off getting a cheap chinese style etc in the hope to get something a bit more long term. In the interim we have been camping in our blackwolf twin dome tent etc.
So anyway we are seriously considering investing in a Jayco Swan Outback in the next few days or so.
We have a 2011 GU Patrol to tow it (2"lift, 28570R17 Duratrac's, XDC9500 winch etc) around and are keen to get something that we can drag around a bit. Nothing to extreme for the camper, but more as a beach / base camp option.
So anyway what we are looking at as far as options go is as follows:
2015 Swann Outback
Extended drawbar
External Shower
Bag Awning / Bed Fly
Tregg or Hyland hitch
Roof Racks.
are there any other options that we should really consider?
Cheers!
Tow vehicle!

Welcome. The boat rack is a great idea as you listed if you plan on taking your PA. I have a PA14 and chuck it on the roof of the Swan for most trips away. Ours has the aircon on the roof and I still manage to fit it up there. We have the Alpha Pack on our Swan too which includes the hotwater/shower, twin water tanks and gas bottles, water tank level gauge Tap on draw bar etc. Good luck with your purchase.

Welcome to the forum, good luck with your new purchase.
Couple of options to consider so they are in the original build and counted towards the weight of the camper.
2nd water tank
Stone guard
2nd gas bottle
Cheers Dan
