A hard shell slim toolbox and a carry bag that holds : small roll of case wire, a roll of good 100MPH tape, big / small zip ties, ziplock bag of electrical crimps / tape and spare wire differing sizes .. assorted size hose clamps and 50mm off cuts of tube to fit inside essential engine hoses etc [ looking at replacing with silicone tape though ] engine belts and assorted small hoses ..
Small bag of screws assorted, small bag assorted bolts nuts washers to fit tug and trailer, tube of silicone gasket and bottle of forma gasket / two part epoxy strip, gasket paper roll ..
Dismantled hacksaw and blades stanly knife / scissors/ magnetc torch / hammer / tomahawk / wire cutters /vice grips/ sockets, spanners, pliers and screwdrivers assorted sizes to fit tug and trailer .
Sounds a lot but packs in the rear footwell on the drivers side of the 4runner, for ease of access with room to spare for the aircomp bag and a bag with the fishing reel and gear to sit on top ..
We mostly only do coastal trips so distances between towns / help arnt that great if we strike trouble. Pre trip prep and monitoring on trip usualy picks up trouble before it becomes a major problem ..

after my last trip i had the thought of upgrading my tool box so will hopefully pick up some good tips
atm i use a small duffel bag that has some scattered tools/spare parts in it.
was thinking of adding a slide out compartment/hatch on the side of the camper to house a top notch kit
