Had it confirmed today from Complete Campsite that they will soon be releasing a Exodus 16 in a few months. Will be available on show in Tassie show in May, and Bris show in June.
It will be the same as 14, just longer with more room inside for more lounge, better bunk setups for families etc.
Will have all same setups as 14..eg..kitchen, shower, electricals, water etc.
Due to some new fiberglass construction technique, weight will be down and they expect it to come in under 2T. The new Fiberglass method will flow down to the 14,11,9 as well and reduce their weights.
They expect price to be mid $90k.
Amazing some of the options on the Hybrid/crossover market.

Yeah Geoff, the kids are still running around screaming with joy after I told them Uncle Geoff was buying us a new camper. Please don't disappoint them by changing your mind now

Good point GG. I'll have to keep them both for myself to keep the wheel count respectable.....

$90k plus holy %#*.
May have a way to make some money to buy one, stay tuned. :D

I bet it would be a cracking unit Mark, we ran our eye over a 14 at the Newcastle show, and Leanne feel for one......only prob, as you point out, is cost..
If I had the funds, it would be on the list for sure..
Might have to rob a bank.... ;D ;D ;D
-
I must be turning into a grumpy old fart but how the F*** can anyone spend 90k + on a 16 foot anything even if it was made out of titanium covered in carbon fibre. The fact that they sell well scares the capitalist bejesus out of me. ??? ??? ???

let me know when it's going down I'm not a bad get away drive >:D

On their website, the Exodus 14 is $88950. I would not be surprised if the 16 came in closer to $100k. They are a top piece of equipment, but a tad out of my price range.

Then add the options! Ouch!

Anyone got any sneak pictures of it yet

I like the complete campsite products but you can get into a mid spec Kimberley Karavan for those $$$

Couldn't agree more!
I like the quality of CC products in general and genuinely considered them when buying the KK. My concern is that the length will be becoming prohibitive especially when factoring approach/departure angles. The Exodus 14 is 6.2m (and based on website longer with the extended drawbar) so have to presume the 16 has to be getting close to 7 or longer with extended draw bar. Nice to see the introduction of a proper toilet though instead of the porta potti floating around under the lounge cushions.

Cant imagine anyone wanting to tow that up the CREB, Old Telegraph or the Old Coach tracks here in North Queensland. These sort of campers/caravans will limit what and where you can go.
Very nice but not my cup of tea.
cheers duggie

looks like its $96K, its nice but there has to be plenty of options at that price.

Probably only about 1% of owners would want to.....it's why they call these things crossovers......most buyers want to go further offroad than a caravan, but are fully aware of their shortcomings..
I think it's major shortcoming is price, but the old saying of if you can afford it, then all else doesn't matter comes to mind !!

Hmmmm .... 96k lets see ??? 20K for a chassis and suspension, max .... another 20k for composite walls, frame etc ... 96k - 40k leaves 56k for .... fridge stove sink and stuff !!!!
I guess im just jealous as I hop into my jayco penguin.
