I have seen them in sydney each time they have toured since the 90's, and even traveled to melbourne to see the perform with the symphony orchestra. Im not a huge fan of their music, my wife is though. But I must say they are some of the best gigs I have ever seen.
I dare say I will see them either in Newcastle or down in sydney.

Yeah, can't wait. They're coming to Newcastle! We've seen them three times...once when I was very pregnant which explains my sons love of music and his possibly non selective? deafness ;D

Oh yeah. I am a big KISS fan. I think I was only 7 or 8 when I got KISS sheets and pillow case for my bed. I was going to post up a pic of me as a very young buy wearing a KISS t-shirt but I cant find it at the moment. I had 3 older brothers and older sister which got me in to music at a very young age. No one in my family liked KISS though :-[

An original kiss army member here too , lol . . I went to see them early '80's , the old man wouldn't take me or let me go alone so he brought a ticket for a young nurse he worked with to chaperone me , :) was a great night that I remember too this day .
Enjoy Muzza
Cheers

I loved KISS when I was a young bloke. I had every album, hung on every news snippet, etc. And then they released.. The Elder.. bleh. It was like turning a switch off. I still like the old stuff, but unlike almost all my other "music from my youth" that I bought on CD, I've never bought any KISS CDs other than Double Platinum. I just checked - I've still not taken it out of the plastic wrapper..
I would have loved to see them when I was young. I was up here when they came in the eighties and there was no way my parents would take me to Brisbane for the show. I still remember the tickets were $13.50. I understand the premium standing in Brisbane is ~$395 or some such this time around. Have a great time!
