Title: Pambula at Easter - good, bad stupid crowded?
Post by: BrindiCruiser on March 09, 2015, 05:33:23 PM
Folks,
I am looking at taking family to Pambula at Easter. Wife, plus kids aged 8,6 and 4. Was thinking about the big 4 and powered ensuite site as it may be cold ten. Anyone been to that site at Easter, or any other recommendations for that area. This time I will want to book a site and have power. Rules out gillard beach and mimosa rocks.

That is a great park, been there twice, but not at peak times.  It will be chockers.

They are very organised owners.  The rather fussy rules about camping inside the red lines, which are x amount inside your site boundary, would be a bonus at busy times preventing disputes and making it easier to get between sites.   I suspect they would handle the crowds really well. They escort you to your site and make sure it suits and that you understand how it works.  Good camp kitchen. Excellent pools.  Excellent beach access. Kids activities during school holiday periods, so you may actually get them off your hands for a bit.  Small shop for essentials and basic take away tucker.  Lots of Roos.

I reckon you should just go for it.

Thanks. From reading other posts I got the feeling they might be a bit regimented. At peak times, I think that could be good.

Interested in the activities for kids  Will read up.

Ouch - 7 day minimum booking. But too rich for a long weekend.

Ended up going on queens birthday long weekend in June. Loved it. Not a lit of people there, so plenty of room. Weather was tops too.
