Well not sure if this is OK here or not, so please move if not.
I started a new job about 2 weeks ago and I'm loving it.
After leaving my last job I was not sure wether or not to stay in the industry, I have a huge passion for all things camping, 4wding and fishing.
I did a little bit in another camper trailer shop, but when a job came up that was to do with caravans I jumped at it.
This new job has me using all my skills I have learnt from my trade until now.
This is something I can see myself doing for many years to come.
It is at a new shop called Caravan Repairs and Service.
The people are very friendly and great to work with.
We do everything from pre trip inspections to full rebuild.
I have already resheeted a few caravans from hail damage.
Life is looking up again...

Good to hear Rod.
Got to look after yourself and it's really important to be happy at work or you just don't last.

Hi,
Life is good if you are happy with what you are doing and your work/skills are appreciated.
Cheers

Good stuff Rod, sounds like a perfect fit for your skills.

Good to read you are happy in the new job Rob, I recently (3 weeks ago) quit my job of 5 years also and have started somewhere else as I wasn't happy where I was working. I took a big pay cut to walk away from my old job and am working much harder now then I used to do, but I am enjoying the new job much more then my old one.

Congrats mate :cup: Good to hear that you have found a job and are happy in it. Look forward to enjoying a tasty beverage with you around a camp fire very soon.
Oh, and change your signature block mate ;D

Congrats.
There is a lot to be said for doing a job you love. I discovered that when I changed career about 15 years ago.
Third best thing I ever did...

Well done mate glad to hear your back in the work force again

So you left a secure job for another that pays less money for much harded work??
WOW
Must have been a really crappy job, or your new one must be as a pre lingerie show supermodel inspector or something similar

Well done Rod - congratulations on making a successful transition. They are lucky to have you on their team !
