OK, there's one old thread on Bigfoot hard floor CTs (Midland, Perth), but there must be some out there in Swagger Land. I'm interested in comments, good and bad. They look pretty good, but first-hand experience is always valuable.
I'm aware they are from China, but a chassis on display at the workshop looks pretty solid.
Thanks in advance

hi,
i have a bigfoot camper bought august 2014,we love it. Very easy to erect ,the fast anex is excelent idea as we are in our 60s and its very simple for 2 to put up,the spare room is a breeze .We have put a solar pannel on top of the aluminium box ,better lighting inside the camper and rewired the camper with 6ml wire as i put a 1kva honda gen and 25 amp ctek charger into the system and also wired 240 volt into our camper so that the engel has dual power etc.The camper is very strongly built and with the 180 ltrs of water onboard helps as we have owned and camped in many units over the years and you can't have enough water. In general we are very happy with ours and recommend it ,hope tis helps.

Thanks, Jeff. At last a reply! Glad you like your Bigfoot and I'll be going out to see them again on Friday. Also looking at another brand, but the salesman is rather pushy, which the Bigfoot people are not. Keen to get away now that things have cooled down a bit in WA.
Cheers, Tony

G'day, a friend at work has been looking at the Bigfoot hard floor camper. He has decided to rent one for a few days.
If you talk nicely to the right person you might even be able to sort a deal, say rent towards purchase, maybe?
I think the import v's local debate, also depends on how much work you can do yourself.
If you are handy, there is no need for as much help, if you can't do things yourself it's good to have someone local with a vested interest to help with mods and services.

i have had one for a couple of years, need to rewire , replace water lines, also the seam down the middle of the allum floor will open up and leak water when it rains ( folded), 35 mm rubber glued the length of centre floor seam will fix it. usualy come with a chinezzz treggg
