Title: I'm Back
Post by: Trrrumping Beast on January 04, 2015, 06:15:28 PM
Hi all. This is my second incarnation after a bit of a hiatus. Missed being able to drop the odd reply in so rather be a guest every now and then I've come back, albeit in a much reduced capacity.
For this reason I've chosen a different user name. But previously I used my initials and year of birth, whereas this time I have used the name given to my old Series3 V8 rover by a few mates I used to play squash with.
For those who I haven't come across I have been married for 14.5yrs and have 2 kids - Emma 6 and Alex 3.5. We live at Redland Bay in SE Qld. Our family tow rig is a Dec 07 200 series diesel Sahara and we tow a 2011 Goldstream Wing 1. Our favourite destinations include Teewah Beach at Noosa, Byron Bay, Wooli and basically anywhere we can light a camp fire.
Our CT is modified to suit our needs, the cruiser is pretty stock except for a 110ah thumper I fitted in the cargo bay and air bags for the rear suspension.
Those who know me will recall the previous username.
Cheers all,Nigel

Geez.  I just looked at my profile and it says Oct 2011.  That possibly is suggesting I'm older than I feel. But I have a landy so maybe I'm not too observant

Welcome back. I used to stomp around Redland Bay when I was a kid got a few family in the cemetery there. I guess I would not recognise it now as it been over 40 years since I was there. How time flies.
Cheers . Thanks for prompting the memories of times past.

G'day Michael. U can still remember 40yrs ago? Lol!
Mate it's changed. I've been working in the area for about 15 yrs, 9 of which I've lived here too, and the development is phenomenal. Most of the farms are now estates and Victoria Point has a massive shopping and restaurant district.
Catch u round a camp fire some day,
Nigel
