Title: Hump Day - Wednesday
Post by: scarpsD40 on October 29, 2014, 09:03:45 PM
So I was reading on another website forum that the reason why Wednesday is called hump day relates back to Egyptian & Arabian times when the Camel masters used to wash and groom their camels mid week.  Seems a bit odd to me, but I read it on the web, so it must be true.............

Oh and they used to camp out in tents in the desert, so it is relative.

That's not what I thought "hump day " was  and don't you love street signs that say "hump  200metres" whether you want too or not  ;D ;D ;D ;D

I just woke swmbo up and showed her your post.  I can tell by the look on her face, she doesn't agree with you:-)
But it was fun waking her up.......it's ok, she still thinks I'm good looking, but then maybe she should've gone to spec savers

Now let's get this thread back on track. Who's been camping with camels?

So the last time I was off track there was camels there, I didn't camp but does that mean I'm on track now?

From the appearance of the second camel in the picture, I think your hypothesis may be wrong.
