Title: How many years camping together?
Post by: scarpsD40 on October 22, 2014, 10:23:35 PM: I've just been reminded that swmbo and I have been camping together for 32 years tomorrow. Doesn't time fly when you're having fun? Not a bad record apparently.

Being the romantic that I am, I did lash out and buy a 2 man tent for the trip though.What else do you say to an 18 girl that was driving a series 2 Landrover for a first car. Impressed the hell out of me. And yes I quickly had her upgrade to a quality car!!!!!
And we still have the Fraser pilgrimage, now with kids, along with all the other yearly trips. Even got married on Fraser.

Well our honeymoon was a 2 person tent, a 250cc motorbike and 2 weeks up the Snowies, Canberra, Newcastle and back down the coast in Jan 1971.
I guess we just haven't stopped since.

A year and a half ago I said we needed to show our daughter the fun of camping, as we both camped a lot as kids. So that's how I got her into camping. Well after the toilet, shower, ensuite, cap machine etc.

Bush walked everywhere but had to stay in cabins.

Big gap before we got back into it. Only a few years since we have been camping regularly. Buying the Jeep caused the resurgence.
