Title: Using Mobile Phones while Driving
Post by: JohngQld447 on October 20, 2014, 06:13:57 PM
This came to me in an email today and is absolutely brilliant. If you have a son or daughter who drives I urge you to show them this video.

A Hong Kong movie theatre asks its patrons to leave their cellphones ON when they enter the movie.
Using that, Volkswagen made an eye opening ad...

Pretty clever and good advert.

Hopefully the message gets out.

Thanks for sharing.....

Yea that one came out a while ago.  I think it was even discussed here around that time.   Kevin

Good add, but those booked should be fined $800 and loose 6 points, because a proven fact the message is not getting out there

Just spent 10 days in and around Perth. No. 2 son was driving on his "Ls" the whole time with me supervising, but with him being quite competant I was able to spend most of my time observing the other road users. He did about 16 hours of driving.

I did not see a single person on a phone.

I was amazed. Back in here in Vic can't seem to past 10 cars without seeing someone on the phone.
