Title: Melbourne Leisure Fest today.

Hi all

Well, first off thanks Rodsswag for the tickets to Leisurefest

What was meant to be a cheap day out soon went pear shaped.   Ug reckons I told him that it was at the Caulfied Racecourse so we went there.  I can't remember telling him and wondered why we were going a different way but as I have been told that reminding him of things when he is driving is classified as 'nagging'.....  I said nothing.

As we were driving down the road, I just happened to glance across at the speedo (as you do) and noticed that his foot was a bit heavy on the pedal.   I just mentioned to him....  You are speeding..Just saying.  No comment from Ug.  Then I looked up again and mentioned again....  Theres the cops..... You have been busted!!!!   Sure enough 3 demerit points and $295.  When asked why he was speeding he said 'because the Mrs wasn't nagging".  Mr policeman looked at me and said ...  "So its your fault then"..  Ppfft cheeky buggar.

Lots of good things to look at once again.  I did my normal sales pitch to several people at the Outback Campers site.  No gadgets were purchased by Graeme the Gadget man but I did get me a Dream pot....   Now I just need to learn how to drive it.  If you have one please feel free to give me pointers.  Given the fact that we have had the webber for over 12 months and I still can't use the bloody thing, I need all the help I can get.

Oh Shit...  Scarps, I forgot to call you.  Sorry.

Home now with much sore feet, enjoying a cider and watching crap on tv.

Lol......just read this to Sue and we're both sitting here with tears in our eyes:-) almost rolling on the floor.  Don't worry re the call, I think a fun day was had by all.....we'll catch up soon.

PMSL, Vicki just showed Linda the post and we/she can relate to this very well in fact it sounds like us out for a drive lol lol lol
