Hi guys new to this site and camper scene. I'm looking for a soft floor for my family (myself, my wife and 2 boys under 5). Any suggestions would be great same as campers to stay clear of. I'm looking to do some off road but nothing major.my budget is $18000 max. Thanks in advance

Where do you. Makes a bit of a difference re choices.
Get along to one of the caravan and camping shows. Lots to see and compare
New or second hand?

With that budget, you will certainly be able to pick up a nice soft floor...
Customline, Trackabout and Tambo seem to be well-respected brands around these forums...
There are also some nice, secondhand models available at different times in the classifieds section of the forums.

I have a explorer Lawson and it is great.
But as paceman said you will get a cracking secondhand model. It will proberly have some nice extras as well.

Thanks guys

With that budget you'll pick up a used quality aussie made hardfloor...
I'd say start off with something Aussie Made, around 8k.. Many people find their first trailer isn't to their liking...
Go and hire a few first, find out what you like, and don't like, then go from there.

I'd be looking at a "rough road" CT rather than a "off road" CT. The major difference is in ground clearance, which dictates the height of the bed. We have an off roader & it's a long way up to bed lol!
Also, with your budget, I would consider a Cameron Concept CT.
I'd stay away from hard floor CT's with kids.

One of the best features of the Cameron Canvas Concept is they have a great step into that before mentioned bed and you sleep east West, so no climbing over the other half for that 2am Lizard drain.
I too would highly recommend the Cameron Concept, we've had ours for just over 12 months now and love it! If you plan on having any more rug rats then I would make sure you get one with the kids room or at least with the provision for it.
Only trouble is finding one second hand!
Good luck on the first part of your journey.
