Hey all
Heading from Newcastle to Maryborough for a wedding the week after the long weekend.
Taking the C/T up the Pacific with SWMBO, master 4.5, master 2.5 and miss 0.25.
Thinking about making it to Evans Head on the first day for an overnighter, then on to Maryborough the next day, for two nights.
On the trip home I figured maybe four or five hours travel so if we get away a bit late it won't hurt and we (I) won,t be setting up in the dark.
This would put us at Tweed Heads.
Any thoughts or suggestions on any of these spots?
My god parents live at Evans Head and I haven't seen then for at least ten years, so I'm looking forward to it.
Cheers for any thoughts...

Evans Head to Maryborough is aprox 500km's and should take around six hours of travel time depending on the traffic. Your return journey from Maryborough to Newcastle is around 1000km's and around twelve hours of travel time. Once again, depending on the traffic.

Push a bit further and stay at Pottsvile. About 20mins further south than tweed. Stay at the Pottsvile south holiday park. Lovely spot on the river.

Or the Pottsville north holiday park....nice as well..

Thanks all, I'll give the suggestions the mirror treatment and look into them.
I'll keep you posted.
