After I was surprised today by Barbecue Bazaar in Midland WA, thought I'd start a thread to promote businesses that deserve a good word.
Went into the shop with the incorrect hose for my weber q & although I didn't purchase it from the shop they got the correct 3/8 SAE hose & said they would swap it if I wanted
I went in looking for an adaptor, very surprised & thought it was worth a mention.
Old hose was a plastic one, new hose is a stainless one.
Unfortunately they don't sell webers, but will use them for any other barby stuff I need.
If you have had a similar good experience lately, let other people know.

Pmsl. Yep. It is good to hear there is still some good service out there. With the birth of places like Bunnings, it seems to of been forgotten

EBAY seller 4WD Extreme has been awesome. Have ordered three things now and two arrived within 24 hours and the other was 48. Not all at Bunnings give bad service oldmate, well at least I don't ;D

After getting into a bit of strife when picking up our van... needed a 4.5t tow hitch. Rang ARB in Newcastle, the bloke there [Greg, Graham??] tried all he could to help, made a couple of suggestions that worked out..
Good to see service is not dead.

Needed stub axles for my kanga trailer as discussed in another thread.
Couplemate custom made and delivered in a week. They also went out of there way to get the additional flange required.
Great service.

I bought my Hema MN7 from handheldsystems.com.au
Ordered Thursday evening after hours and it was at the post office on Monday. Very quick service and good communication.

When we prepared our property for sale, the bathroom light wasn't working.
First we thought it was the light tube, so bought a new one. No luck. Then I opened up the light and measured if it had power going to the light.
Nope, but it had power before the ballast, not after. So the ballast was gone.
I went to the shop where we bought the light from 3 years earlier and explained what I needed. Beacon Lighting in Edgewater had a look and found no spare ballast or light but opened up a new light, took out the ballast and said to give it a try. Back at home it was the wrong ballast. Back to the shop with the broken ballast, they ordered a new which after weeks never came in. Beacon Lighting asked me which light it was, I showed them in the showroom, they took the ballast out the working display model and gave it me. They didn't want any money as theit warehouse had taken way too long and never came back.
Great service.
