Title: September school holidays, where are you heading?

Just wondering what everyone is up to on the upcoming school hols.

We are doing a small road trip down Young, Forbes (family) Lightning Ridge, Nindigully and then home.

Travel safe all and enjoy wherever you go.

Post by: Campsite Cruiser on August 27, 2014, 04:26:00 PM: We were heading off for 4 weeks to Uluru and surrounds, unfortunately our son has broken his leg and is in a full leg cast. So have to replan and postpone that trip.

But no where, have just started a contract job so no holiday pay, birthday enough saved up to take some time off

Our family has been going to Miara since before I was born & I'm 39 this year. I know it's nothing flash but I do like the place. I think it's pretty cool that I can take my kids somewhere that I used to go there as a kid. So many memories.

75 was a greet year..... And miara was almost bush camping with toilets, you want to do something go fishing, and pkwy spotlight of a night.

Post by: bully on August 28, 2014, 05:58:35 PM: Was going to the snow as the kids have been up me to take them for years. But funds are not good at the moment so off camping at kinkunna for a week. Kids aren't happy but they wife about how cold it is here.

looks like our plans have changed have to be in brisbane on the Friday for a appointment so heading south now may go to gold coast

Off to Porcupine Gorge for 3 days then across to Charters Towers. Then home. Have been counting down the days for weeks. There is 3 families going so should be a great 2 weeks

I've been away in holiday time and been the only one there at a camp spot.......you just got to do some homework and find places that people normally don't go to ...even in holiday times.

3 week trip planned, only 5 sleeps to go! Can't wait either!
