Yeah, just staggering prices.

I have driven both the Ferrari 250 GTO and 275 LM (IIRC) in the late 1960s. Pigs of things to drive. The only other thing that I have driven from around that time that had no synchromesh on any gears was a Chamberlain Super 90 tractor ... The latter had better torque ...  ;D ROTFLMHO!

The Aston Martins and Jaguars that I drove in the late '60s/early '70s were beautiful touring cars. The Ferraris made even the Shelby 500 Potvin blown Mustang and Chev Camaro 350 SS seem civilised, and they were both garbage ...
