Title: Border Caravan and camping expo! 15th-17th August
Post by: evolution on August 07, 2014, 06:45:44 PM
Hey guys,
The Border caravan and camping show is on next weekend, Is anyone coming up for it?
http://www.borderexpo.com.au/show.html (http://www.borderexpo.com.au/show.html)

I'll be there with Ecomate of course, but as its a local show if anyone wants to come up for the day and wants a couple of  afterwards just let me know. :cup:
Happy to host a BBQ or something Saturday afternoon at noreil park??

Parking should be ample, as its never been an issue at the Wodonga show grounds, and the expo is booked out so lots to see.
If its anything like the last one Kimberly, cub, aussieswag, mountain trail, Modcon, Pioneer etc etc will all be there.

Cheers
Evo

Busy ;D

well that was an understatement and a half. Lol
To give you an idea on numbers,
Friday:
Cool and sunny: 2800 people
Saturday:
Cool and sunny: 5000 (odd) people
Sunday:
Cold and bloody rain all day lol: No idea on people, but I am guessing around 1500-2000.

I would suggest just under 10,000 people over the weekend.
I caught up with a few other swaggers over the weekend, and as usual it was fantasic to see you and have a chat.
Although I do apologise for not being able to stop for a coffee.
We had a heap of great responses at the show and I know a few other manufacturers sold some campers. (great work guys)
All in all though, it was a really well run show with fantastic organisers. Lots of friendly stall/site staff and plenty of colourful characters throughout the weekend.  ;D

There are a couple more additions to the ecomate family, Hopefully they will jump on here and chime in.
The upside to working in the industry is that I get to refer allot of people here  ;D

Just for Jet, I had a good look at the Hillbilly cookware for you mate. Awesome products really, I had a good chat with them today and if you are wondering about the quality or how well it works, I reckon it would outlast me.

Cheers
