We have a 4.5m Plate boat which we're thinking of taking with us on a few trips (Broncos11, don't tell Patrick ;D) along with the c/trailer. Does anyone do this? We're lucky enough to have a "proper" 4wd each. My main worry is room at campsites. Would I have to book 2 sites at somewhere like Woodgate NP & the likes to park the boat or just try & squeeze the boat in.

No not me, but seeing that the wife picked a camper with out a boat rack she bloody well can drive down to where ever we go >:D

I would do it for sure - only problem is we only have 1 vehicle capable of towing the boat or the swan (for now anyway >:D)
Would be awesome to be able to have the boat somewhere like Woodgate too!
If you can do it bloody go for it I say!
Cheers

I would love to take my boat and the Swan, but unfortunately the Boss doesn't like the idea of towing, even though we have two capable vehicles and she is in my opinion more than capable :'( Sadly the boat gets very little use these days.

I'm thinking of putting a tow ball on the camper so that we can tow the boat too, what could possibly go wrong ?

Hi Iron Bark Hay,
We have boat racks for the hardfloor campers in the pipeline.
We'll keep you updated.
Happy Camping ;)

Most NP sites are soo small you have trouble fitting the CT & tug on the one site, so good luck with a boat and a 2nd tug!!!
However your theory is sound, just make sure you accidently bump the UHF off channel so you can enjoy the silence ;D
