G'day everyone,
The last time times ive been on the beach my front wheels have both been full of sand, and its all stuck in there. I've been on and off the beach 100's of times with my work, but this one had got me stumped. I have to actually pull over turn the wheels so i can get in behind the wheels and scoop it out, otherwise it wont come out and it.
Am I on my own here? Does anyone have a trick to help stop it?

It’s happened to me twice over the years, first time was turning at speed in the soft and the second I had a quick skid when a dog ran in front of me again in soft sand.
Both times I had to stop and use my hands to get it out. I just put it down to the tyre digging so far down, the soft sand is now at rim height and gets in that way.

Only happened the once to me so far, but now when airing up I check the unbalanced feel was terrible felt as if the tire was a 50 cent piece

When i think about it, the last two times ive been on the beach, it has rained the night before. I think the wet sand sticks to the warm rims and just stays there. I'll just have to check each time now....

I spend a fair bit of time on the beach and it has happens quite a bit, usually after driving through wet boggy sand. Just scrap it off which a stick or give it a hose and they come good again.
Cheers Nomad.
