How and where do you carry your firewood for stays where you cant collect?

What is reasonable to carry for a 3-4 day stay?

If your just looking to cook on it? buy 20kg of mallee root charcoal. 1 bag will last 4/5 cooks

If i cant collect i just strap 1 or 2 20kg baga on the drawer bar and try to find a suitable large log or 2 on the way into the camp site

Probably about 10kg a night is enough for a small fire.  15-20kg if you need to cook with it or have a larger group.
I just get the bags from the servo and shove them in the camper/car wherever they fit.

I just pick up the hardwood from around building sites and then cut it up to fir in 20 kg feed bags and it goes on the roof rack or firewood box on the trailer.. Box wood carry enough wood for 2 days and throw 2 bags on the roof for 3-4 nights
