We visited the village last week and it is an OUTSTANDING PRESENTATION. Entry is $25 perperson ($65 for a family) and to do it justice you will need to spend a whole day there. It cannot be covered in a few hours. Must do if you are on the Tablelands.

Mrs MB was born there....
at the hospital...
back in the day.....

The village is a well worth visiting, I have often mentioned to members it is good to see.
But I have a question UIZ733 how come you did not come as visit the most important thing in town, ??? namely me when you were already here. ;D

Didn't know you were there. What a shame. Pity about the weather also.........................a bit on the chilly and damp side ;D Met a nice local (Quarry owner) who is very interested in buying a vista.

I took the family there a couple of years ago. We spent most of the day there, it was quite enjoyable. :cup:

It is an awsome place to visit.
We will be going back sometime next month and then will stop in and see John and family again.
I wont give him any warning either so he cant run and hide ;D

We just spent 5 nights at the Railway park in Ravenshoe last week and we didn't get to the historic village as we had been there just under a year ago. But seriously make sure you get there to check it out, the sheer amount of gear they have is quite amazing. As said it's easy to spend a day there.
