Title: 50 amp anderson plugs

Hi i notice different color anderson plugs ,grey ,blue, red, yellow all state they are genuine anderson,are they able to be connected to each other or do the colors mean any thing ?is it just cosmetic  because not every body likes the "original grey"color

Different colour Anderson plugs will only fit the same colour plug. So Yellow will only fit yellow etc.
Made different so you can colour code your setup
I have grey for normal stuff and will be using yellow for solar input.

Watch out there are a lot of non genuine on the market.

I buy mine in batches of 10 on eBay, buy always make sure they are the genuine ones.
Also watch out that you are buying for the correct cable size they will often have  lugs for 6 B&S OR 8B&S.

Narva also have this type of plug, available from most auto part shops.
You pay a bit extra for the wrapping though.
