I went and had a look at the new Cub campers at the Melbourne show ground on Friday. They now have a bracket on the side that you attach a shelf to, nice but over $200 to buy and reto fit. Has anyone put something like this on the side of their camper ?

Hi,
Check out my Cub Escape thread, I added a detachable plyboard shelf to my Cub Escape, see this thread for details how I did it towards the bottom of the page

Cost a hand made small run product in Australia, Workplace building cost, employee costs, Government costs and high electricity costs, advertising office overheads etc, etc, etc.
Buy a sheet of plyboard from bunnings, a few other bits and make a shelf like I made, much cheaper. If I had to pay someone to do all the mod's and improvements I have done to my Cub Escape It would have cost me twice as much as I paid for my Cub Escape.
