These have been mentioned on here before, re their kitchens, so I decided to check them out.

Look pretty tough. $30k.
-
Sorry I just cannot see $30K here, the suspension and hitch is worth maybe $5000, the roof top tent $2000, can't see another $23K for the rest.
-
It's called research, design and development.
And to think, it all started from a 6x4 trailer.
Musta taken years, now he wants it paid for.

The fulriver battery, the red arc controller and bms, the pre wired led system along with all plug in options, the inbuilt gas hot water system, the inbuilt firewood carrying rack, gas cooker and stainless kitchen and bench, the heavy duty undercarriage and bash plates, surely you sell it short!

I think I would rather buy a Drifta campertrailer.

Looking at what you've listed I have to agree with Isuzumu.

I think I agree.

Plenty of great DIY builds on the forum following this format at a much lower price. Cheers! Andrew

But hang on, this isn't some Chinese POS, it's a genuine Aussie built high spec camper trailer. You guys should be jumping of walls to support them! WAP. ;D

Yeah, and plenty of cheap "imported" campers out there following normal build patterns at a much lower price. So what gives?
-
Good luck to them if they can sell them at that price, a bit too dear for me but I'm guessing they'll last quite well in the bush if they're half as tough as they're claiming.

Ya can't win here pal, ya come over from the dark side and promote some locally made high quality probably over engineered new product, an everyone reckons it too expensive.
Sorry just me shirt stirring! Carry on.
I actually love the concept. Some one will soon no doubt knock it off and import it.
-
Reminds me of the Conqueror 300 series.
-
10k of that is brag factor but hell, if u can afford it, brag away. Tough units.

I like it. And what it is worth is what people are willing to pay for it, and that will be different to everyone. I agree with dazzler, if up you can afford the brag factor than why not, it's the same reason there is Aussie swag, KK, ultimate, cc, trackabouts. You can easily build any of them yourself, but there can be a lot said for buying a trailer and just being able to use it and not have to mod/upgrade it.
My 5 c, and I'll give some change.

I have a client who has one of them army surplus looking campers.
They love it.....
I couldn't for the life of me, see the value in it. Theirs had no tent on it and I said, where do you sleep, thinking it must have had slide out draws like a morgue.
It turns out, they have a rooftop tent on the 4WD. ;D
I told 'em I thought it was rad and fully sic.
-
I thought these started off at about 23k?
They are a tidy looking unit, but at the end of the day, most campers seem to be overpriced for what they are!
