I was wondering if anyone has any idea who and or how much roughly it would cost to get a camper trailer from Brisbane to Townsville?
The reason is after a couple months looking, there has been very little that's attracted our attention in the second hand market from Cairns to Mackay but there's has been a lot around the Brisbane area.
cheers

At work the company we use cost $770 inc gst.
Door step to door step.
PM me if you would like the details.

Take a couple of days off if you can and make a family trip of it and drive down and use it on the way home, nice weather for it. we've driven to Brisbane from Townsville a few times to collect purchases etc.

we have considered that KieranR, but that 770 transport cost is less than a few days wages......
im going to hold off longer and see what happens, there must be a nice one come up for sale up this way at some stage.

Would the trains have a 50mm ball or a Treg? ;D
On a serious note, as far as I know they won't take "unaccompanied" trailers.

When we had a breakdown in Mt Isa some years ago we arranged for the trailer to be brought back to Brisbane as a backload on a car transporter - cost about $850 from memory. Phone the Townsville car dealers and find out which company delivers cars to them, then ask for a backload price.
