A question I have is......Are there any 24 hour roadhouses/service stations operating along the Princess Highway between Melbourne and Eden ?
I've tried to do a google search on the topic and it came up a blank.
It has been some time since I did the trip overnight and from memory nothing was open after about 9pm along the way. I want to leave home around 1am.
Cheers.

Should be one at Traralgon and Bairnsdale, plus when I was at Cann River in January, there was a servo just off the highway (on the road to Canberra), that had an 24hr eftpos self serve. I have an Uncle in CR that I could check with just before you go.

if you look at the Caltex site, shell site and BP sites, they should all have 'search' functions with hours of their places...

Thanks scarps. Yeah I did that Bruce and nothing along the Princess Hwy.
I usually top up at the Independent on the outskirts of Lakes Entrance heading North but I'm not sure if it stays open all night.
Thanks for the responses so far.

There are Apps available for iphone that can advise you by your location and even direct you to the their sites in the area your in. The big 4 (BP, Caltex, Mobil and Shell) are all available.
I have them and they come in useful from time to time

Ring ahead as well. I almost missed my boat her once as the website said they were 24hrs but they were shut down. Had to drive back 50k and just made it. The shell site down in Tas still shows one as 24 but its not.

There's a united in Orbost that has 24 hr fuel. It's an unmanned site and is pay by card setup. I'm almost certain that the BP in Bairnsdale is a 24 hr manned site.
