Hi everyone
At 67, back to camping after 20 years on the ground, it's time for some comfort. The Domestic Goddess and I did 5000k in Western QLD last year, absolutely fell in love with it. NOT with the $$$motel$$$ scene or the sardine-tin tourist parks. I have enough trouble with my own 3AM flatulence without having to deal with flatulence of the bloke 3 tents down. Or his missus's. Or her Pomeranian's.
Did 3 months' research, looked around and bought an optioned-up Lifestyle Deluxe. Both the product and the staff were very much the most impressive.
I have added a Tatonka brake controller, Red Ant isolator, two 105ah Giant AGM batteries to the Land Cruiser diesel truck. I have also installed two more 105ah Giant AGM batteries, 120 Kickass solar panels, 31litre Evakool fridge, heavy duty jerrycans, LED lighting and solar device chargers.
The aim is to do isolated 7-10 day stand-alone camping stints. Eating roadkill, which is all we can afford for a while after that little lot.
Had the system up and down a couple of times (hint to first timers: don't use a stopwatch to time yourselves, use a calendar), seasoned the canvas and housed the overflow crowd at a family reunion. Now that Easter and Anzac pressures are over, we'll be off.
MySwag has been just brilliant - thanks everybody!

Good looking camper. We are also retired (63 years young) and have owned our camper for 7 years. Hope you get as much enjoyment with yours as we have with ours.
