They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

LEST WE FORGET...

Share a cold beer with a mate & remember the diggers who are with us and the ones who didn't make it home.
Also a thought to the Soldiers who are still away from home now too.

A day off then if they dont want you to come in late after attending, then go to the march as well. What is our world coming to? It is the diggers who fought that allow these places to be here and operating today. Lest we forget

Back when I was onsite the local town used to have a pre-dawn service that started at around 4:30am so that those on 12 hour shifts could still start their shifts as per normal. There would then be a normal dawn service at 5:30am for everyone else. Sounds like a lack of planning where you are.

Don't forget to say thank you to all the diggers today

Just attended my first ever dawn service at Coolum, enjoyed the atmosphere and the march, but unfortunately the PA ssystem didn't work and I couldn't here 1 word spoken by any one or any of the songs or music. Very disappointed, oh well at least it got me thinking about the whole point of the day. Hope others had better luck.

Lest we forget
My daughter has been learning the trumpet for just over 12 months, yesterday she played the last post and Rouse at the school parade. .

Another dawn service and sadly the ranks of older Veterans has thinned quite a lot , age has wearied them.. a handfull of recent Veterans spread amongst them now stepping up to continue the tradition ..
Thanks for your service guys ...
-
To all our Diggers. Thank you for your service.

Lest we forget,
To my brothers...
We are indeed the lucky and unlucky ones,
As we are the ones who have lived to tell the tales of those we once knew
We are the ones who carry those scars of things seen, done and lost
We are the ones who must never let those who are not here be forgotten by the new
We are the ones who will never need to be reminded that "We will Remember Them"
As We are the ones who will always remember those we forever call friend.
(Anthony Devanny)
Milo, you were a man in a crowd who always stood tall. You will never be forgotten nor will the respect you earned from your brothers fade. RIP mate.
Cheers

Lest we Forget.
That's why this Country has a future now.
And I hope all those disgusting people who treated our troops so shamefully Back in the 70's get a really good visit from KARMA.
The TROOPS didn't need or deserve it.

Back from a dawn service that is growing each year. The numbers of young people attending is terrific to see. They were there as individuals and groups representing schools and organisations and conducted themselves with aplomb. ANZAC spirit is alive and well in these young people and makes you have faith in this countries future.

Lest we forget.
Spent the morning service at Liston in Nth NSW near Stanthorpe. Tiny town with a few dozen houses but a great turn out and a nice service.
