Hello All
Have just bought, well august last year, a Kimberley Kamper and wonder why we waited so long to go bush. Just love it which is incredible considering neither my husband or I came from camping families. Neither of us have even been under canvas until now!
Looking forward to getting to know you all... Apologies now for stupid questions that may follow ....

Thanks for the warm welcome.
Don't get too excited our KK is 15 years old. It was original and consequently we had to rewire as the gas inspector cut all the leads due to new regulations. Have had the sides undone to rewire and while we were in there added some more external anderson plugs, batteries, redarc controller and elite gauge set up. Also new tyres, other ones were still good just, well, 15 years old!!. While we were under new bearings and shockies. Had to take the canvas off to repair the annexe zip. (geezz that was fun) . Have to say it was wearing a little thin. But that first night out made it all worthwhile! Will post photos when we get out again. Fingers crossed next weekend.
Never thought I would see the day that hubbie and I fight over the BCF and Rays catalogues ;D
Cheers. Allana

Hey Allana, you will soon have all the gear you "don't" really need. We went a bit silly at first but have since culled a lot of gear. Keep it simple and it is a lot more fun. Otherwise you might as well just head to the nearest caravan park and plug a trailer lot of tech gadgets into the nearest 240.
