Hi,
I'm Cam. I found my way here while looking into investing in a camper trailer and there looks to be a heap of info.
I currently camp with the wife and 3 kids. We enjoy it but the whole set up, take down, get out and air and clean the tents and pack up again at home routine is getting a bit old for the short trips. Hopefully a CT will alleviate this pain and we can get out there more often in more comfort.
Now the kids are getting to an age where extended trips are a possibility I am looking at doing the Cape, Gulf , NT trips in the next few years so looking at a quality camper that wont fall to pieces.
Last Xmas we spent 2 weeks in my sister's hard floor camper in the CV park and were sold on them. I am still liking them but think that space may be an issue as the kids grow (currently 3,5&7) and a quality soft floor might be the go. I love the TL8s but there just doesn't seem to be many for sale- particularly on the east coast.
Anyway looking forward to learning a bit and meeting a few of you.
Cheers,

Welcome Cam and family, great to have you on board.
Sounds like you're 1/2 way along your CT buying journey, and that's part of the fun.
Best tip I can give is take your time researching, asking questions, and if possible visit as many camping shows as you can.
Don't believe everything that you're told, but gather info from everywhere and make your own well informed decision.
Enjoy the myswag ride.

G'day Cam, welcome to the forum. A soft floor may suit you better with a growing family mate, if you keep and eye on the classifieds you are sure to find a great camper at a very good price.
