I was told about a spot just south of Dululu called Lake Victoria and from what I can find out it looks like a lagoon on a creek system.
I have been told it has no facilities which is perfect for, keeps the number low. This is all I know about it. Maybe some one here has stopped there before.
I think I have been past it before but when I was on the highway full time I went down the other way through Taroom etc.

We were there at end of January. The first night we had the place to ourselves, the second night two caravans turned up, we could just see them in the distance. Loads of room to get away from other campers, good spot to put a boat or kayak in. No facilities at all and as seems to be the norm these days, some people have trouble taking their rubbish with them and there were also a few poo tickets around. It's not a bad spot at all. Once you go through the gate, the road in is black soil and whilst isn't far to the camp sites, you would need to keep an eye on the weather.

Apart from the rubbish it sounds like my kind of place. We are self sufficient so we don't need facilities.

Yeah mate, I'm only at Rocky. I know all about black soil and rain.
Before where I work now I done bulk tipper work and use to do harvest a lot, being out in some cropping country with two or three off the back and had the skies open up.... Ain't fun!
