here ya go, here's a pic of my new / old work ute. i wasn't looking at getting a 4wd, but the wife's uncle passed away a few weeks ago and his wife was looking at getting rid of his old Maverick ute. it was in the price range i was looking at spending for a cheap as work ute, so i bought it off of her.

i bought some tool boxes for it on the weekend and quickly set about chopping into it with the angle grinder (wouldn't do that to a vehicle i cared about...lol). now has a couple of the boxes in the back and tomorrow arvo i'll hopefully change the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder in it, and then start driving it to work and sell my builders trailer. the Cruiser can come off the road and have some much needed tender love and care, and get it ready for our hopefully 6 week trip to Tassie at the end of the year (if we ever pull our fingers out and start booking the ferry etc).

AFTER CUTTING (has a full metal roof and 50mm x 25mm box section welded in along the top, so it doesn't need the centre support)

i'm definately going to be selling it in the near future (as soon as i sought the clutch issue out the Mav has and transfer the tools into that from the trailer), it's a 7X5 trailer if you're truely interested. please don't ask how much i want for it at the moment if you are interested, i honestly haven't looked at what they are worth these days, and i sold the previous one i owned many years back, way to cheap when someone i knew asked to buy it out of the blue >:( my fault for not checking first though
-
Just shoot me a photo or two...its a bit bigger than what I am chasing but will have a look and give you an honest real estate agents opinion................
