With 2 lows heading our way we are in for some wet weather. This should make the Cape trip interesting.  ;D

If you believe the weather forecasters, that is not going to happen, but what do they know. ;D

I've had a bit over 2 meters already this year .
Link to rain chart in my signature below. lol
I think the GoC system will bring the best chance for some good falls in our region , if it was just the Coral sea system it will just suck our rain south as it go's .

Bring it on , I'm a self confessed

It would be nice to see the whole of QLD get a good drink .

Unfortunately however while I have had a great wet season , you don't have too go far too find country that while green at the moment, won't hold up through the DRY without lot's more rain ..

Cooktown area is copping a flogging, I will make for an interesting Cape York Trip this year if the weather keep going the way it has been so far.and yet people are still driving through/past the closed gates on the CREB track and getting stuck.

My YTD (year to date) 3135mm rain chart in my signature ..

Cheers Sol.  yeah the wet tropical coast is always hit and miss , and most events are topography related rather than a wide spread system .

It's so good too see rain to the west, both North and South of Chillagoe .

cheers
