Title: Tigerz11/Roo Systems recovery bag
Post by: Spartan on January 07, 2014, 10:59:20 PM
Does anyone here have a recovery kit from either Tigerz11 or Roo Systems? Or more specifically the bag that it comes in - the Oxford Bag?

I'm looking at buying one but I want to know if it will fit my gear first so I was wondering if anyone could help me out with some dimensions?

Thanks,

Spartan

I have a couple of the Tigerz11 bags. They are actually a pretty god bag.

I can't help with the size as I am currently away, but they are a great and you can fit a lot of gear in there.

I paid $15 for mine at one of the outlets.

Personally I don't like everything in one bag, too heavy, too hard to pack, don't need everything every time and hard to find what you need when the pressure is on. I use 4 of the Just Straps small recovery bags and have a specific kit in each, winch recovery, snatch recovery, winch extension, etc. I also have the small ARB bag for the drag chain. Heaps easier to pack and easy to grab when you need it. I keep a basic winch recovery kit under the passenger seat when off road in case I can't get into the drawers in the back...

I know what you mean but I don't have a huge amount of gear so the weight shouldn't be an issue for me.

I don't have a winch and don't plan on getting one so it's just snatch recovery gear for me - a couple of straps, shackles, gloves etc and I thought about putting the jumper leads in there too.

Everything I have is stuffed under the front seats and just floats around so I'm trying to neaten it all up a bit.

If you want a special size I might be able to make a canvas bag for you.
