Title: Newby from Geelong
Post by: myoldhk on December 11, 2013, 11:10:05 AM

Hi all from geelong, built my own camper. Used it once so far and took 2 weeks to build. And still needs more but its usable.
(A man with a tape measure is a dangerous thing!)

I do hope you don't work for Alcoa - or Ford, come to that.

The shed is a good size can fit 4 cars comfortable but its full of crap.
My metel skills are slim at best but anyone can lay a bead with a mig and a tape messure makes it square. If you looked close its not perfect.
A mate folded the tub for a slab.
As for work, fords is stuffed and I get better money driving an hour to melbourne. But Alcoa was comming and everone new it but too worried to say. but wasn't suppose to be till 2016.

Geelong is screwed if the government doesnt help with some bid industry plans.
And as for the new Mayor, he's a muppet and will drag the town into dispare.
