Hey happy campers, after some information on where the best place to camp is at Wyangala dam. Not really in need of power although amenities near by would help out the wives club. Have a camper and some tents as well as a boat so some place close to the water would be good and lots of shade if that's possible.
cheers Dan

Hi Dan,
We stayed at the main camping area as there are limited facilities in the bush camping areas. If you Google Wyangla Waters State Park there is plenty of info. ( can't do a link on my tablet ) ??? We enjoyed our stay, ended up staying longer :D
Cheers, Robyn.

Hi Dan
A mate of mine goes to a part of the dam called Grabine (?? spelling) and a couple that I know just had their wedding out there so I think there are a few facilities there that would suit your needs, might be worth a thought.
Quart pot is another part of the dam but I don't know if is is a camping spot or just a fishing place
The main camp ground near the wall end of the dam has all facilities although last time that I was there the little shop was not operating due to the lack of water (5%) and customers, mabe it is better now with more water around.
Happy camping,
Trevor

The main campground is the only place that has amenities.
Markhams is a really good place to camp but has no amenities & can get busy on big weekends.
Grabine is the other side of the dam to the Wyangala state park and the road in was pretty hairy last time we went but it is also a nice park. We have only visited Grabine not stayed.
Hope this helps a bit.
