Title: Alternative uses for a high pressure washer.
Post by: austastar on November 03, 2013, 08:33:24 AM
Hi,
I have a jungle of ivy from a large property next door continually encroaching through a wire fence. The hedge trimmer does a good job, but  damages the wire if I'm not really careful, and the wire puts nicks in the trimmer blades.

I was using the washer nearby to clean up the wall, and on a whimsy, tested the washer on the ivy.

It shreds it.

Brilliant.

Best of all it puts all the rubbish back through the fence.

The other use I found was that it is brilliant for adding water while mixing cement in the mixer.

Either a nice mist for just adding water, or blast the sides for a bit of a cleanup at the same time.

It certainly makes cleaning up at the end of the day a much easier and quicker job. It moved remnants of cement from the bowl that I had missed on previous jobs just cleaning with a hose.

cheers
