The scammer says that he won't respond to emails thru trading post. He has put up a Yahoo address to be contacted by.

yea contacted both thru tradingpost - they probably go through to someone that shouldn't know they are being put in the middle.

For me it is the idea of the inconvenience they'd be getting by us all not reading the BOLD instructions.
But...
I can't help but wonder if they can track IP addresses some how. I am far from being the clever type who would know about such things, but hope it don't bight us back so to speak.

They could, but if its like ebay, they wouldn't give a Shit as long as they get their cut.

Myself and the other nerd at work stopped a young single mum at work who was on her way to the bank to get a loan for a trailer on the interwebs.. "its a bargain" she kept saying...
I cant remember the details, but it was $30k cheaper than the others of its model on the net at the time...
Once we convinced her it was a scam, she sat down quietly and never really spoke to us for months.... you cant win with some people...

Yeah that's it lost. Unfortunately there is people who still fall for this stuff and put their blinkers on when they see a bargain.

This same jayco and other are on gumtree nearly every night and not long after they are taken down they are put back up again, I suppose the scammers get a few people who think they have a bargain and pay via western union and never receive the item. There was a couple on today tonight ( or a current affairs) the other month who got scammed and were creating a fuss about it, the old saying if it sounds to good to be true it is a scam (mostly).

I used the links above to see the for sale adverts.

That is weird then, the SOLD label is in the contact seller box.
How would the seller have control over that?

The number plate on the VW behind in 1 pic also looks to be from Vic.
