Finally after almost 9 months and 1 relocation I have secured a job.
It is IT Support for a mine just out of Parkes for a 2 month contract with a view to going permanent when the new owners take over.
Very exciting and I cannot wait to get back to work.
Start this Tuesday, Yay.

Thanks All,
A huge relief. LB has been more than supportive over the time.
Malcolm, LOL but I really did want a job. Going crazy staying at home not doing enough housework to please LB. :)

Good news mate. I wondered how the move was paning out for you guys, surely this wil help heaps.
Our head office is in Orange I can keep my eye out if you are after something closer to home.

Hi Jas,
Closer to home would be nice, happy to do anything really, not just IT.
Me getting a job will help us stop bleeding the proceeds fromt he house sale. If Parkes goes perm then when the lease is up on this place we will probably move inbetweeen Orange and Parkes. On eof the reasons we rented in the first place (aside from my lack of job) was that we could easily move if required.

Mate, your in IT. Have you got any plans to come up my way in the next while - Really, I am looking to hire. Just putting it out there ;D
-
Hope it works out long term Bunyip.
Takes guts to make the move without any job in the offing, so great to see it paying off for you.
-
Whose Bunyip ??? :P
Bazza the Bunyip - find him on the riverfront at Murray Bridge. Throw in a dollar and he'll come up and say G'day! :P
Now back to the purpose of the OP - congrats on the good news Bunyip.

Would love to come your way, unfortunately not on the cards at the moment but I will let you know if that changes.
Tried to talk LB into moving some time ago but my best mate from school lives in WA and I am not sure WA is big enough for the both of them :)

Congratulations Bunyip!

Bunyip l suppose your still there ??? so they haven't woken up to you yet ;D This might go well if you fooled them this far .
-
Great to hear good luck with the new job
-
Speewa,
They are starting to cotton onto me, already had one "Random" breath test ;D which I passed I might say.
Day 2 I spent half a day up a 70m tower supervising Telstra workers changing out parts on the mobile phone antenna, windy, noisy (tower is at the top of the conveyor belt taking ore to the stockpile) but not that difficult.
