Here we are in Echuca and it is blowing a gale. We got here last Friday and set up the camper putting up all the annex walls and only putting in half of the pegs (as you do) but by Tuesday it started blowing and nearly got caught out putting in the rest of the pegs in the dark. It kept blowing and BLOWING until it got to the stage where we felt like we had to sit in it to give it some weight. So far the camper has withstood everything nature has thrown at it and is surviving, not so its owners. Looking at the weather forecast it looks like getting better this evening and maybe we can start to enjoy our camping a little more.

Hope it clears up for you mate, nothing worse than not being able to relax on holidays wondering if you're going to blow away!
When we were travelling QLD coast in January I think it was in Yeppoon that it blew up a gale. We went and got the last tarp left on the shelves to put over the CT, and all over the CP all you could hear was the 'tap tap tap' of people putting more pegs in. Damaged caravans and alot of trees came down, but we were lucky to have just got a bit of a wet patch on the awning that dried out the next day.
