Hi there everyone.just wanting to know which model hilux is best to buy could anyone give me some info please

I would think that anything 2000ish onwards would be pretty good. I have an 05 SR5 3.0TD Auto, and my mate has a 2000 SR5 3.0TD Manual. Noticeable difference in driving position, rear leg room, power, etc. You just got to test drive all you see, until you find the right one for you.
I prefer carpet too, as when it gets wet it dries through, the "lino" floor in the SR does not, and can smell, I have heard.
Still it is all up to you, and all can easily be upgraded. Have not driven latest model.

I have a 2002 td 1kzte. I love how simple it is, no power anything, vinal floor, no airbags and no electronics in the 4x4 system which the sr5 has.
As far as which hilux is best that comes down to your budget and intended usage. I find even with the turbo mine is not a great tow vehicle.

I have a 2008 3.0ltr d4d as far as towing goes could not be happier
It has a 3 inch lift and 33 inch muddies
The 2006 up grade common rail is a lot better car but saying that It depends
on your budget

Ive got a 2006 manual SR5 and love it! Drives well, handles towing the trailer with no issues. Looking at getting rid of it soon and upgrading to a 2013 SR.
A mate has the 2013 SR tray back, he said that he can notice the difference between mine and his in the back. We decided that it was that mine was the style side and his was a tray. He has had his lifted (2 inch) with bigger wheels.
