Ok so this is in NO WAY camper trailer related but , ...
Yesterday I participated in the Tough Mudder event at the Sunshine coast. For those who dont know about it "Tough Mudder® events are hardcore 18-20 km obstacle courses designed by British Special Forces to test your all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie"
Basically it was an 18 km slog through mud and obstacles designed to break (or electrocute) you! lol
Well I'm proud to say the I made it (along with my 3 other team mates) to the end! :D
It was definately a challenge, and I think my military training was certainly a big help. I am planning on doing it all again next year!
Did anyone else have a go ????
Cheers Chippy :D

Wow, I thought the B2B was a challenge. It will do me anyway as 10k will be my limit.

the concrete pump driver at work today was showing me footage he had on his phone of that event, as he entered into it himself also. you might have seen him warming up...he was the guy sucking down a couple of durries before the race ;D ;D

Amates wife and her boot camp team entered, though I havnt heard how they went yet .

My eldest boy's done it the last couple or so years and loves it.
He says his greatest achievment though, was when he trained a chubby girl leading up to it, and she breezed it through :)

Yep, I tackled it with a group of 4.
Had a great day out. Probably won't do it again, thought there was way too many people, and the obstacles were too small.
But still had fun and glad I did it.

Well done my best mate is a tough mudder member he travels to most of them round the country how long did it take you he does it in round the 2 hour mark
-
Yeh they are awesome fun. A mate and I competed against each other on Saturday then we backed up in a team event on Sunday to help the ladies get through. Was a great weekend

I did the Tough Bloke challenge in Sydney a few weeks back. It was only 8km but for someone who doesn't run or train it was great and I will do it and other similar length events again but might train for them. It rained for the entire week prior to our event but Sunday dawned bright and sunny. The organisers certainly didn't have to water the course. It was a blast.
Hats off to you guys that do the Tough Mudder at 21km. IMO that is just too much running so kudos to you. My wife does them but then again she ran a 45km ultra marathon in May ???
-
Well done on finishing a friend at work competed in the team event and enjoyed every moment and they are planning on doing it again. Must say your team is a lot cleaner then her at the end and not too mention her bruisers.
-
One of my colleagues did it & didn't show up for work on Monday claiming it hurt too much, but she did say it was an awesome experience.
-
I'd be keen to give it a go.
As long as i can use a 4WD, i'm in.... ;D
-
Well done, not for me. Spent snuff time slogging thru the bush when younger.
All I can say is:
WHERE'S THE MUD?
A mates son and partner do it in Vic, and they come to the end looking like drowned wombats!
Should call in Tuff Duster up north!
