Hi Folks
There may have been a similar post in time gone by but any way..so my appologies
I'm about to get my self a Camping Stretcher.
Number of months ago I purchased my self a RV Oztent that I hang off the side of our Coromal Camper as an awning and additional area for the portaloo and storage which works a treat.
The Bonus being I can use it as a 4x4 touring tent when required.
2014 Plan is for a mate of mine and myself to do a trip of the Central Desert Road from Albany up to Leonora across to Uluru down to the Flinders Ranges, and to Fowlers Bay SA and then home to Albany WA..but leave the camper at home but instead take the Oztent.
As such I'm about to go out and purchase a Camping Stretcher
I'm impressed so far with the quality of Oztent gear (got their tent and a King Kokoda Chair)
As such was planning to get one of their camping stretchers..
Any feed back from members for choice of stretcher would be much appreciated

We have two of the Oztrail padded jumbo stretchers. Looked at the Oztent but from memory they had a steel frame, as opposed to the Oztent which have an aluminium frame, and were a bit heavier. We were looking to keep our weight down at the time. Very happy with our Oztrails.

Oztent King Goanna stretcher and Oztent sleeping bag, can't fault either product. I'll be buying an Oztent3 next.

I rate Oztent products We have RV5 tents with a tag-a-long, 2 x stretchers,Chairs x 5 very good kit
The wife and I set up the 2 stretchers on either side of the RV5 and have a small alley down the middle to store your gear and to walk into

We have the Oztent King Goanna stretchers and they are great. Hardly any sag and really comfy. Only used now for the Grand kids to sleep on in the CT tent.
Recommend them.

The best stretchers on the market. Stronger and better built than any others.

I've got 2 of the King Goanna stretchers that I bought second hand. One of them I noticed afterwards was a bit "wobbly". Where the central leg joins into the main poles down the side, the rivets are getting a bit loose. I rang the Oztent support line, and they spent time talking to me (even after I explained I bought them second hand) and in the end advised me to drill out the rivets and replace with similar size bolts with nyloc nuts. That way they shouldn't come undone, but if they do, I can tighten them up again.
That's pretty damn good service! And the other stretcher is an absolute cracker. Definitely recommend Oztent.

We have two Oztent stretchers, I think they are a great bit of kit, a bit heavy and bulky but nice for sitting on aswell as sleeping.
