Title: Jayco Barby Connection on Drawbar
Post by: Vitara_JaycoSwift_Outback on August 16, 2013, 07:51:12 AM
Morning all,

Just have a couple of questions in regards to the gas fitting on the draw bar that came on my Swift Outback. I forgot to ask questions about it at hand over and I'm not really sure how it all works. I have a had look but can't really see any threads to screw a traditional connection into or am I just missing something? We have a little round portable barby (not a webber q) that I would like to connect to it but am quite unsure of how to go about it.

Didn't want to go about jamming something in there and breaking it.

Thanks for your help

Without a photo of the fitting I am guessing it is a bayonet fitting, see some of these threads for ideas

If its factory fitted its a bayonet fitting no thread it just pushes on and then twist
you can get a hose with the bayonet fitting from local BBQ place

Just been through the same with my new van. I had to ditch my trusty 3 legger as its a high pressure barby and I think most draw bar outlets have passed through a regulator, I.e. low pressure
