Hi there guys
Since deciding to buy a CT and finding this site I have found a couple I am very interested in, they can be both had for $12900, but not knowing enough about them and what is important I am hoping you can advise which might be better.

I realise that it might be the "how long is a piece of string" question, but there could be something glaringly obvious that I just am not aware of.
Any help you can give is appreciated.

Think with more info about what you do and what you want and you'll get some helpful advice.

I am going to be moving over from Norfolk Is and will be based in Rockhampton for work for a couple of years, so am going to buy a CT to take the wife & kids around different parts of Oz, like Fraser, the Rock, plus trips away hunting and fishing, I would like a a trailer that is worth buying in the first place and work on bits & pieces over time, the tent is secondary at this time as I will work towards getting a good Aussie made one when I know what we want and need.
Does that make sense to do it that way?

The far horizons I've had a good look at. Trailer is made locally in Adelaide. Very well made. Not sure if the tent is local or imported, but from memory they are 12 footers. I wasn't overly impressed by the features vs price as they were expensive for a very basic trailer/tent when I looked at them. They seem to be throwing more features into their campers now though.
Family run business located south of Adelaide. You'll need to add a bit more for shipping to Rocky possibly in excess of another thousand.

Yeah, I thought of even maybe buying just a trailer and adding a better tent like the Gordi gear one, but I just don't know enough about trailers to buy with any confidence at the moment.

Up that way I would be looking at a Customline in Beenleigh. You can just buy the trailer and go from there. Not affliated, I use to have one.
