Gimmick time from the brewries again.... What !!! not even a mini metal copy of an 18 gallon keg on a stand, that would look good on a shelf , just an uggly black plastic thing ... CHEAPO'S ..
-
Been doing this for years, now @ $2.00 a pot, used to be cheaper.
5 L just perfect for a good day. [but need 1 each]
-
i have beer on tap in my lounge room anyway......lean on the bar pulling jugs watching the cricket or footy.....ah !!!!!
-
Think ill still stick to my home brews.
Less than $1 for a 750ml bottle for a top class kit from Muntons, thats 50 cents a pot. About 60 cents a bottle for a Coopers brew. I have about 10 dozen bottles in reserve at the moment.
This one is one of my favourites:
Oh year, failed to look at this thread initially becoz I thought it was about CT kitchen Taps!!!

I used have a few on the go as well Mace, when I was a tad younger, err, and thinner.
-

I just had a look at them this arvo too; thought about it for a while and grabbed a carton of Summer instead.

BWS have a permanent deal on Carlton slabs . 2 for $78.00.
thats 63 pots @ $1.20 each

My main question is whether they taste better than stubbies.
Beer on tap seems to taste better to me than packaged beer (this may all be in my mind). If this tastes better I would give it a go.
-
I am interested to see if they can be refilled with home brew making a cheap party keg.
Cheers

Just imagine how nice something less putrid would taste ... ;D

That is sensational, makes my 6 dozen or so seem so insignificant
-
Brilliant idea, carn't wait till they bottle up a beer that can be used with it ;D

Once you have one of these you can do about 5 or 6 bottles for under$100.
You will also need a cheap home brew fermenter unit.

Anyone done the 'Moonshine' or homebrew Bourbon?

Bloke at work has one of the air stills I posted up. His Canadian club is spot on. My taste buds weren't in much shape to check the rest of his range, but I'm assured by others at work that his bundy rum is pretty good as well.

These things arn't too bad, but ditch the charcoal filter and grab a much bigger one( more charcoal ,bourbon flavouring works a treat
