I'm wanting a bull bar and suspension. Looking for the best deal obviously. Want ARB gear.
So, anyone have an idea of what sort of specials to expect at an open day? Is it worth a bit of a wait?

You could consider TJM products, and see if there is a deal for you in this sale

By "Open Day" do you mean "warehouse clearance"?
They don't seem to happen often and it's pot luck what's available. I saw suspension odds and ends at the recent one at ARB HQ in Kilsyth (Vic) but no bull bars.

I think POD is referring to the 'open days' each branch has. I wouldn't expect any further savings on an open day than what you would get by walking into the store and telling them what you want to buy.

Sounds great. If only TJM sold ARB gear.

That's what I would expect but they never want to give me a discount when I walk into a store.
See in their open day adverts

They say "fantastic specials". Just nothing I would want is probably going to be on special!

Didn't no they had open days..
Fantastic specials, like show specials?

Do they do any better on price if your a member or a club ?

Keep saving and let the list grow. When I was kitting out the 100 Series I emailed a few ARB stockists with what I wanted and asked for a quote. Most came back straight out of their price guide :-[ but one quote came back with free supply and fit of a Safari Snorkel :cup: saved quite a few dollars from one email.

Can be very worthwhile taking your (ARB products) shopping list to a dealer ARB Open Day. As well as (more) vehicles on display showcasing the products, and more 'affiliated' (to that dealer) product people around to ask questions, (i.e. Hema, Couplertec, etc) they'll do deals on everything. i.e. Order a front locker and get a free compressor (single type) to power it. Order a swag and get a free boot swag. Where they can't throw in extras for 'free', they'll discount off RRP.
The annoying part is then the damn wait for production! Only thing good about that is it's a sign of one niche part of the Aussie vehicle accessories manufacturing industry that's going gangbusters.

Agree with around the 10%. We had some gear put on last year. It wasn't an open day. If you're ready they can happen the pencil at any time.

ARB have company owned stores and then there are privately owned stores.
I have had experience with quite a few stores, and it always comes down to the guy behind the counter. They all can discount if they want to.
There is plenty of room for them to move on price and 10% is only a starting point.
Get a list together of exactly what you want and ring around.
Nothing beats visiting the store and negotiating the deal there and then.
Good luck!
