Title: Recommendations for very compact stretchers
Post by: Jjw1234 on May 19, 2013, 08:22:30 PM: Hi, well our new aussie jays camper has arrived and we love it. We are just in the process of trying to work out what fits and what doesn't. Our existing stretchers (for the kids x4) were anaconda deluxe folding stretchers with a padded mattress. They were great, comfy and quick to put but. However previously we used them to extend the sides on the trailer so they hardly took up any room. In the new trailer they can't fit on their side so we are in the market for some compact stretchers. I've heard mixed reviews on the oz trail ezy fold and roman rapid (can't seem to find any Melbourne stores that stock these). Does anyone have a recommendation for me. I really want the kids up off the ground. It lets us store stuff under there beds and is just easier.

Post by: Jjw1234 on May 20, 2013, 08:22:33 AM: Thanks socks but I think my boys would commit murder if in bunks together. Thankfully we have a 12 ft tent and kids room and have just resigned ourselves to setting up the kids room each time.

The XL non padded stretchers probably come in at half the size when folded.

Weight-rated to 150kg, low-rise, and compact and light when folded. We've got our 3y.o. on one, and the 20 month-old will be on one too soon enough. Older & bigger kids might want to add a self-inflating on top, but it's as comfortable as a stretcher could/should be.

Highly recommended.

Cheers for that. It's likely that the Tentworld guys in SEQld would match it, so I'll likely get the little bloke's ahead of time while I can save a few coin.
